It’s the question on everyone’s lips. Spiller did it in 2000, Eddie Grant did n it in 2001. So, in 2002, What’s Going To Be The Big Track In Miami?
n
KEVIN SAUNDERSON
n Not too sure what’s gonna be big this year in Miami, except my own of course. n The Paul Reynold tracks big for me, been playing it out recently, just looking n forward to the response in Miami.
n
WILL GRANT
n My number one for Miami is Shakedown – "At Night" on Naive. It’s n a slice of 80’s-tinged disco house. It’s already massive, but the original mix n is still the best. Julie McKnight’s "Home" is a close second. It’s n not quite "Finally", but it’s still wicked.
n
PARKS & WILSON
n Not too sure what tracks are going to be big in Miami this year. Everyone tends n to keep their tracks a bit secret before, to build up the buzz. We’re kicking n ourselves we haven’t been in the studio and made anything massive
n
NICKY HOLLOWAY
n I’m on an ’80s classic funk record that’s been brought up-to-date in a kind n of Agent Sumo style vibe; "Every Way But Loose". It’s by some strange n bloke calling himself Toulouse Le Plot and looks set to be a stormer.
n
BRANDON BLOCK
n Big tracks for the future
. I would have to say is gonna be "Liquid n People", that’s one I’ve been playing out loads. Another one that Tall n Paul’s been playing out on slate, called "Sweet Love", should be pretty n big too.
n
ROY THE ROACH
n There’s a nifty little remake by Holloway & Co. doing the rounds at n the moment. It’s of the 1978 classic from Voyager, "East To West", n and it’s simply called "Voyager". A slice of disco heaven.
