With tangible benefits arising from Oxfam’s campaigning work – Jack Straw recently agreed to back the International Arms Trade Treaty – and the crisis’s worsening in the Congo and Sudan. Music 4 Life is becoming an increasingly important part of Oxfam’s work to spread the word to young people in Britain and help alleviate suffering and poverty through petitioning and support and with many talented artists and DJ’s lending their skills to the cause, Music 4 Life is also an increasingly prominent monthly player on London’s club scene.

Why Music 4 Life is different: 1. Bring a music donation for Oxfam to sell and get in for £5 2. All money raised goes straight to Oxfam 3. Enjoy 3 floors, 3 rooms and 2 nocturnal adventures in one night 4. Buy and hear thernbest records from the Oxfam shops in London. 5. Sign up to and support Oxfam in its ongoing fight to stop poverty and suffering.

Tech House legend and Fabric resident Terry Francis joins us this month. From humble roots DJing in a south London rock club, Terry went on to win the newcomer gong at the 1997 Musik awards and hasn’t looked back. With an enviable production CV and an uncanny ability to rock room 2 in Fabric on a weekly basis, Terry is sure to make early Saturday morning a treat for Egg crowd. Joining him will be the London Tech House mainstay Dave Mothersole, DJ on Kiss FM. Dave welcomed the Acid House scene with open arms after coming back from a his Goa travels and started DJing on the pirate station Energy FM. Bringing his inimitable style to prominence with the seminal Eukatech release ‘Tech House Classics’ Dave will do what he does best, get dark and funky. Accompanying all the above will be resident Martin McNeill whose opening and closing sets for Junktion & Music 4 Life and Breaks FM shows are now meeting approval from all the great and good of the deep house scene.

Also, a very special live room hosted by Combat Recordings. Decks, FX, laptops and vocalists are ready to take the crowd on a heady electro, breaks journey from 6 very talented artists and to ensure all bases are covered, Lucky Soul and the Volunteers will be amalgamating the best of the Oxfam shop records in London into their sets of Funksoulhiphopelectrohouse on the first floor and not forgetting, a very special guest announced in the coming week!rn
