Following two successful projects in New Delhi, India, and Seoul, South Korea, BUDx Boiler Room take their worldwide workshop and performance series to new heights in Santiago.

With curated showcases, first-time live performances, and technical masterclasses alongside exclusive access to the histories, processes and stories behind them, BUDx Boiler Room is a celebration of the most exciting music scenes around the world. Apply to attend on 2nd – 3rd May, here: blrrm.tv/BUDx.

The first day of programming will begin with a compelling panel talk on Latin America’s New Wave. With guest speakers Valesuchi (Chile), David Bugueño Zuñiga (Chile) and NAAFI’s Lechuga Zafiro(Uruguay), attendees will be invited to discuss and celebrate some of Chile and Latin America’s most exciting new collectives, their prevailing sounds and the future of Latin music.

One half of the production super-duo Masters At Work, Kenny Dope, will be on the couch to give an insight on his personal production approach and offer a lesson in his idiosyncratic blend of soul, jazz, hip-hop, house and broken beat.

Closing Wednesday night will be Legowelt with support from Future Times’ DJ Python and Santiago selectors VNZO and Mucho Sueno.

Thursday’s programme will see Honey Dijon open the evening with an intimate lecture. The electronic music icon will discuss her meteoric rise by taking a journey through her most important records, spanning back to her first dubs as an aspiring musician in Chicago and NYC, all the way through to her works as the queen of electronic music’s high fashion altar.

BUDx Boiler Room in Santiago will finish with an almighty closing party featuring a headline set from NYC DJ and Minimal Wave Records Founder, Veronica Vasicka with support by Diagonal boss Powell and local powerhouses Kamila Govorčin and Aurelius98.

Expect to see an ambitious audio-visual installation across both days courtesy of musicians Fran Straubeand White Sample in collaboration with a team of incredible artists including Valentina Serrati and Roy Macdonald.
