It’s Thursday, it’s 1pm, and we’re sitting non the sand on South Beach in Miami. I got in yesterday afternoon, and I’m thoroughly nenjoying myself relaxing on the beach, dipping in the sea, enjoying the sights nof Miami.
n
I don’t know where I’m playing over the next few days. I know the dates, which n is a bonus, Friday Saturday and Tuesday. The more I hear about the Ultra one, n [editor's note: Saturday] the more I’m looking forward to it. We’ve got n the last but one slot on the night and I’ve been told it’s a really good party, n open air thing like Homelands, GCSSS.
n
It should be alright to catch up with everybody. It’ll be nice to see people, n and because there are so many parties, just bumping into people for five or n ten minutes to say hello will be good. Miami’s really different to anything n else in the clubbing calendar. It’s not the clubbing holiday thing, it’s got n a different vibe. This is predominantly industry with parties thrown in. Most n of the people you’ll bump into will be industry people rather than club-goers. n Industry parties always have a bit of a slur on, because it’s all conversations n about ‘yeah, fax me, email me, lets do this track, yeah it will be wicked’, n and it never happens! It turns out to be one of those ‘all talk’ scenarios.

Back to the beach. I was sitting on the beach before, and I had this great n idea for a solar energy thing. You wrap some conducting wire around a mirror, n and you stick it in the sun all day. Hopefully, by the time evening comes, it’s n generated enough power to charge some little portable speakers so you can listen n to music on the beach. You’ll wait, it’ll be all the rage in Ibiza this summer! n Actually, come to think of it, the solar power thing might not work, but in n principle it’s a good idea. I’ll market it if the DJing thing ever goes pear n shaped. After this week that might happen really quickly!!
n
After Miami, as soon as we finish on Tuesday night, we fly back out to England n to change planes and then we’re off to Australia for a little tour we’ve got n going on that’ll last about a month. It takes in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan n and Australia. The travelling thing is going really well for us at the moment. n We’re going to some great places, pushing it, working harder and harder.
n
So to finish off, who’s the most beautiful girl I’ve seen on the beach today? n Well, the Latino girls are stunning! My fondness for Latino girls is growing n year by year, to the point where I’m going to become a naturalised Spanish person. n By then I’ll have finished my quest. There are some really good looking boys n and girls here, depending which way you swing at the beach. Very well-maintained n bodies, but that’s just the Miami look. There’s some fantastic examples of quality n plastic surgery that you can find here, it’s got to be said.
