Original Detroit techno pioneer, Kevin Saunderson, has revealed that he is excited about his forthcoming set at the American leg of the Global Sol UK tour.
Saunderson, due to headline the all American line-up alongside URs Rolando and James Pennington (Suburban Knight), said: Im really excited about this party. Im so proud to have been selected to represent America at this party.
TTDJs Kevin Saunderson will not have played in Britain for almost a year and this is an opportunity to catch a rare appearance from one of the original members of the Belleville three.
The Arches in Glasgow will host the party on September 2nd, which Saunderson seems pleased about: Those guys in Glasgow sure know how to party man. I havent played in Scotland for a while, but I sure know that when I have played there in the past it rocked, so I know this party will go off.
The next leg of the is Global Sol tour is the French leg with house legend Dimitri from Paris headlining with support from DJ Cam.
