GBH
n Last Friday I had the pleasure of finding myself back in the mix on WNYU’s n radio station which has shown a strong support for dance music. I agreed to n do a mix to help promote my residency at GBH which seems to be growing more n than ever. The station showcased my mix from 11pm-1am and liked the records n so much they asked me to appear regularly on WNYU. The next time I’ll be live n in the mix will be in November. The GBH crowd continues to show love for its n resident DJs. The clubbers were out in full force last Friday and stayed until n the very end of my set. I also need to send a big shout out to Carl Kennedy n who povided stunning dancers and one hell of a sax player. For those of you n that want to get the GBH experience and would like to check me out, just log n on to www.gbh.tv. I’ll next n be there on October 11th and would like to thank my friends for stopping by. n

MORE CYN…
n ‘Fantasy Reality’ is a record that I’ve been going on about for a while n and it’s continues to get support from my peers.
n
Smokin’ Jo said in Ministry n Magazine that: "I Love this track, it’s really been big for me for n a while, it’s got lots of percussion that does just what I’m looking for on n the dance floor".
n DJ magazine wrote: "Fans of Robbie Rivera will like the stop/start n nature and Paul Johnson-ites will like the slight pervy vocals".
n Muzik Magazine put this record on their Top 15 last month and wrote: n "DJ Disciple’s new, darker direction pays massive dividends. Expect to n hear this at places like Tribal Sessions and The End.
n
Roger Sanchez has made this track very big in Ibiza, while Oscar G. from Murk n has made it one of his biggest tunes at Space in Miami.
n
Lottie has been a big fan of this record since day one and has featured it n in the mix on Seb Fontaine’s Radio 1 show last Saturday. To check out the playlist n

HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN…
n Tom Stephan, who has also been a big fan of cYn’s ‘Fantasy Reality’, played n the record in front of *69 record label honcho Peter Rauhofer. *69 is a hot n New York label that immediately gets support from the majority of the city’s n leading DJs and last week, as I mentioned in my last article, it got licensed n to the label for America. I went down to the Roxy last night to see what kind n of noise the record made and to my surprise, in front of 4,000 people, the record n did go off in a big way!
n
n SUPERCHUMBO
n When I got in the DJ booth to meet Peter, he told me how the situation went n down and also added that after he signed the record he asked Tom Stephan of n Superchumbo fame if he would like to remix the record for his label. According n to Rauhofer, Tom Stephan is now remixing ‘Fantasy Reality’. Of course, having n Superchumbo remix the record is truly an honor. After the success of his last n record ‘Irresistable’, I cant wait to see what he comes up with here. Stay tuned.
