EMI’s newly established “GET NO SLEEP” brand represents a unique conglomeration of community, live experience and record label offering the best from the wide-ranging field of electronic music every day. The brand provides users with important information and the latest sounds from e-music luminaries like David Guetta, Deadmau5, Nervo, Eric Prydz and Swedish House Mafia. The all-encompassing worldwide EMI Dance Network recently started up, bundling all of the label’s available A&R and marketing forces together to discover new dance music talents and guide them to long-term international success. EMI Music Germany has brought all this together under the brand banner of “Get No Sleep”, celebrating the new brand’s launch on April 30^th with a truly phenomenal event.

Cologne’s Bootshaus Club was transformed into Neonland; once the eager partygoers had passed through the entrance, they were greeted by a genuine bounty of the best electronic beats for “GET NO SLEEP presents Neonland“. The colourful setting was commanded by internationally acclaimed DJ Fedde Le Grand at the turntables, who lived up to the new brand’s name and kept the guests happily captive on the dance floor with his driving house sounds until the wee hours of the morning.

Fedde Le Grand was supported on the evening by DJ Patric La Funk, one of Germany’s most rapidly rising house music stars. Patric’s name has long been established thanks to remixes for prestigious acts like Mark Knight, Axwell and Moguai, as well as productions with none other than Fedde Le Grand (“Autosave”) and more. The “GET NO SLEEP” label took the opportunity to sign Patric and his DJ colleague DJ Delicious, whose track record includes remixes for renowned artists such as the Scissor Sisters, Morcheeba, Moguai, Milk & Sugar, Marc Romboy, Erick E. and Bootsy Collins alongside his own releases and the production of international hits like “Same Man” and “Rockin”. The Patric La Funk & DJ Delicious single “Smile” is set for worldwide release this coming summer on Get No Sleep/Positiva.
