| Greg Paulus and Nick DeBruyn draw on a lifetime of experience and partnership with each other for their duo No Regular Play. The Minnesota-hailing act grew up in the vast intertwining worlds of hip-hop, funk and jazz before the two of them followed separate paths.
But in 2006, the pair reunited in Brooklyn, and came to the attention of Zev and Gadi of Wolf + Lamb and the rest is history, going on to release huge cuts such as 'Blonde Juan', 'Owe Me' and recently, 'Fall Up To The Sky', on the Supplement Facts imprint. When they’re not slaying floors with their blend of hip house, alternative atmospheres and funky grooves, they’re serving drinks in The Marcy (Wolf+Lamb’s hotel), operating vinyl presses at Brooklyn Phono and gradually crafting a 25 minute electronica composition to play alongside the Minnesota Orchestra. Take a trip with NRP as they treat DT to a delicious podcast of underground gems... |
