Camp Bestival, Bestival’s family-friendly sister festival, has announced its line-up for 2012! Headlining Friday night are Hot Chip. The London five-piece’s new album is due out this year, so this not only represents a chance to see one of Britain’s most reliable live acts, but an opportunity to hear music from album number five. Saturday night is billed as Camp Bestival’s Saturday Night Fever, with Kool & The Gang, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers [above], and the Earth Wind and Fire experience featuring Al McKay leading the charge. Also scattered across the festival’s three days are live performances from Jimmy Cliff, Little Dragon, P Money, Youngman, Adam Ant, Rizzle Kicks, Henry Rollins’ Breakfast with Henry (a spoken word performance), Random Impulse and more. On the DJ side of things, decks will at various points be manned by Ben UFO, David Rodigan, Mosca, Greg Wilson, Zed Bias, Stopmakingme, Jaguar Skills and more.
