Pre-Order Now - http://bit.ly/FutureDiscoVol5 Future Disco is a compilation series and global party brand, which takes influences from 70s, 80’s and 90s house, to create a brand new sound that is captivating dances floors all over the world. Future Disco has residencies in some of the best clubs in the world, including 360 in Dubai, Ministry of Sound London and Space in Ibiza. This is combined with a host of parties taking place every month worldwide in destinations such as Singapore, Estonia, Denmark, Bahrain and many more. The compilation series was born out of a desire to bring together a new emerging genre that wasn’t captured in its depth by any current music collection. The first volume, ‘A Guide to 21st Century Disco’, was released in March 2009 and received both critical and listener acclaim. It featured a new school of artists including Holy Ghost!, Hercules & love affair, Runaway, Aeroplane, Beyond The Wizards Sleeve and many more, which instantly struck a chord with listeners. This was followed by the 2nd edition, ‘The Extended Future Disco Mix’, which was released in September of the same year. Mixed and compiled by Sean Brosnan the entire selection is re-edited, extended and remixed until what you get is a seamless journey of Future Disco, perfect for the warm up or warm down. Featuring tracks including the huge pianos of the Juan MacLean’s Happy House, Todd Terje’s remix of Shit Robot and the unadulterated disco of Faze Action’s ‘I Wanna Dancer’, major live dance act Crazy P, remixes from Mercury-Nominated Friendly Fires, and disco pioneer Greg Wilson, the album went on to be named iTunes Dance Album of 2009. This was then followed by the third volume ‘City Heat’ in May 2010 and volume four ‘Neon Nights’ in 2011. Taking the sound in yet another direction and providing the ultimate Future Disco night out with a more uptempo twist, this became the biggest and best edition in the series to date. Now in 2012, Future Disco looks set for their biggest year yet. The latest in the series, Volume 5 ‘Downtown Express’, will be released on 27th February and takes the Future Disco sound to a whole new level, with tracks from Crazy P, Tensnake, Metronomy, Benoit & Sergio, Maxxi Soundsystem and many more.
