Helsinki Heroes

Helsinki is such a great city. It may be dark and cold during winter time but without being big in size, it has big ideas. So we love to return for our Future Disco residency each month and while we took a little break over the bleakest months, we’re coming back with a bang in March for four mouth watering dates with the crème of the crop of current Future Disco stars.

First up Maxxi Soundsystem, who is set to have a great 2012, opens proceedings. Followed in April by our friends Crazy P, who will perform a soundsystem show, where Danielle never fails to dazzle on the mix. April and May are two of the new school. Miguel Campbell’s Something Special record on Hot Creations not only features on the new Future Disco album, but has been heard in clubs everywhere and will continue to do so for months to come. He is also working on a new album so make sure you catch him now. Robert Rodriguez closes the series, a producer who has developed a reputation of a producer who treats the fine line between house and disco and has been a firm favourite on the Future Disco stereo.

Every night is backed by Tapio K as our reliable residents and if you get down early, chances are you can grab one of the giveaways on offer. Club Ahjo which is the venue for all the parties has an intimate vibe with great soundsystem.

We don’t think there will be a better place to be over the spring, than in Helsinki.
