|That's right, Sunday Best is back, south of the river, next Saturday, March 24th, with what can only be described as a rave-up-to-end-all-rave ups!
We’re over the moon to have finally caught up and discovered the ace Bussey Building in Peckham, a veritable hotbed of musical and theatrical talent nestled right on Rob da Bank‘s doorstep. A bare warehouse vibe with wooden and concrete floors, no frills and some cool little cinema spaces and nooks and crannies, Busseys is perfect for us with 2 floors of fun and games to last ’til the morn!
As ever, we've pulled a together a suitably mishmash genre-trashing selection of ace producers, DJs and performers. The brilliant Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (pictured, above) is topping the bill with a sure-to-be unmissable DJ set, bolstered by the rocksteady, reggae, ska & dancehall riddims of DJ Derek, Drums of Death‘s body-pumelling techno odysseys, hotly tipped Manchester producer Krystal Klear's R&B;-inspired house sounds and Auntie Flo, Beans on Toast and Face+heel performing live.
And, of course, our ever-reliable Sunday Best stalwarts dan le sac, Tayo, Frank Tope and Sombrero Sound System will be joining Rob da Bank on the wheels of steel on a specially brought in top bloody notch sound system!
Beat the queues and snap up tickets here. Be there Bestivalites, or regret it forever. Or at least a very, very long time...
