Radioclit – Mature Macho Machine (Solid Groove & Sinden remix) (Counterfeet) (2006) by Sinden

Thought I’d share this one with the net. It dropped in 2006 on vinyl but the label I was running with Switch never made the leap to releasing our stuff on digital. A lot of it was all sample ridden so we just pressed up limited amounts of wax. I’ve been so jealous of those that come up to me in the club to sign the original records, I don’t even have an original copy of ‘Beeper’!!!!

My first solo release drops November 15th on Mad Decent and features the incredibly talented raps of Huntsville, Alabama’s G-Side. We brought a big video crew out to their hometown and filmed on location for a weekend. Definitely a lot of fun taking a red double decker tourist bus around Alabama, must have weirded a few people out! Look out for that soon!

Here it is, the video is finally up! Look out for a cameo of yours truly at the end playing ping pong with Riff Raff. We brought the RiCE out!

A few weeks ago Kid Sister and SODMG’s MTV Riff Raff jumped in the studio on a beat produced by myself and Grizzly’s newest signings 5kinandbone5. The video, already hailed as a ‘ping pong masterpiece’, is coming soon. Keep checking this page.

I was in Austin, Texas when producer/DJ Dubbel Dutch played me Distal’s Boss Of The South after our ustream. On that US tour I was exposed to a lot of great music, but this was an absolute beast – it stood head and shoulders above everything I heard & it was really well produced, totally original, gangster but playful, energetic with that southern rap attitude – a rolling cult rap and bass anthem. I had to find the, Atlanta based, boss of the south behind it!

Coke Bottle is another one that I latched onto, clinching the deal – a great partner for ‘boss’ slotting somewhere between techno, juke & rap with sinister synth lines.

DFA & Soul Jazz producer Capracara took it back with a Kerri Chandler / Masters At Work style bumping classic house vibe. Im a big fan of what he’s doing.

We got Well Rounded’s Wheez-ie on a fast footwork version. A month later he delivered a 2nd with fun piano stabs that trumped the first version even.

I remixed, lastly, turning in something moody and techy – my deepest remix yet.

Distal – Boss Of The South is released 12th September 2011 on Grizzly
